I'm a student in La Joya that wants a future in the field of computer programming career. In La Joya there are a 3 main High Schools, which I don't attend any of them, I had a chance to go to an ECHS(early college High school). It is where students in high school are taking a college class and graduate with a associates degree. I'm a student of a graduating class of 92 students who are also determined to get a career in the different field such as biology, engineering, mathematics, and computer sciences(which I'm doing ).

I started programming during Tex-Prep where we spend weeks programming a robot to complete a maze, it was difficult because the group that I was put in didn’t know what to do except me, so basically I finish this project by myself. Many errors and many times I had to rewrite the program, plus the motors were always outputting different power every time, so it was it was different results every time.By the end, I was successful which I saw that I might enjoy fixing errors and see how to correct the problems with the robot had. This is where I had a love for engineering and computer programming.

Then when entering my first C++ course we would build games and projects that the teacher would assign us, so we always are in a group of 3, which I had my friends to go with. We all had different parts to work on for example a memory game, one of us had to make the layout and had a randomizer, so it will be a different layout every time; other had to make the variables know where to go on the layout;and then one of us had to make sure the when two variables were the same they would get taken out of the board, but if they did not match we had to keep them hidden until they were the same. Throughout this year I have advanced in my programming skills and I’m one the programmers that the teacher proffered me to go to this program, so I could get more ahead in my programming career.
